The 11+ Exam Process can be a long one and it requires significant commitment in terms of time (and money if you are getting tutoring). As we do not take a pressurised approach and focus on the child's foundational knowledge above all else, we only take on those who are already performing at an adequate level to be able to take on 11+ to ensure that they do not feel overly stressed during the process and to ensure that there is not too much material for them to cover in a short amount of time.

We are able to assist with 11+ exam preparation where the exam is based on the GL format.

If you go forward with booking sessions with us, we will provide further contact details (phone number and email) so that we can correspond directly with regards to your sessions.

If you are enquiring for the first time, please contact us here to book in your first trial session and from there we can book in further sessions based on availability and your requirements.

Cost will depend on what exactly you are looking for and how often. The costs are broken down on our Services page and shows what each type of booking includes. Rates displayed are on an hourly basis and are inclusive of a 3 mile travel distance from EN2.

Generally tuition sessions will take place at the student's home address, unless otherwise specified prior to the session. Please ensure that you have a suitable open area for the tutor and student to study - this will be somewhere quiet that is free of distractions for the student. Please note that we will not provide tutoring sessions in a bedroom and a parent or guardian must be present in the home during the tutoring session.

Where a student is keen to have us as their tutor but lives outside of our travel radius, we have provided tutoring sessions at local libraries. Local libraries can act as a good environment for students who struggle to concentrate at home or are getting reading help as there are a large number of choices for them.

Prices are inclusive of a 3 mile radius from EN2.

Students falling outside of this 3 mile radius may be considered dependent on frequency of sessions, tutoring subject and desired outcome. Please still get in touch to see if we can work out an arrangement (we have previously carried out tutoring in local libraries).

Sessions can be paid for in the following ways:

- Cash

- Bank Transfer

- Revolut App

Trial sessions must be paid for no later than 24 hours prior to the start time of the Trial Lesson. If you then choose to book in future bookings, it can be negotiated as to whether a monthly transfer is done or if you pay per session. If you opt to pay for sessions each time, payment must be received by completion of the lesson and no later. Monthly payments must be paid by the completion of the first session completed in the month and no later.

Yes we will email you your invoice for your session and can also provide a paper copy if you so wish.

Dependent upon how you wish to pay, your invoice will be created accordingly (i.e. monthly or per session). But typically your invoice will be sent out each Sunday or on the first Sunday of the month if you opt for monthly payments.

Should you need to cancel a booking, please ensure that you obide by the cancellation policy as per the terms and conditions you signed up to when taking up tutoring with us.

Please give as much notice as possible when cancelling lessons to ensure that no cancellation fees have to be charged. Please text your Tutor by using the mobile number you are provided with to cancel the Lesson.

Where more than 24 hours notice is given, no fee will be incurred.

If less than 24 hours notice is given, 50% of the Lesson Fee may be charged and if less than 12 hours notice is given, 75% of the Lesson Fee may be charged.

You may cancel a Lesson at any point before the scheduled start time of a Lesson. To cancel a Lesson please contact the Tutor via the phone number you have been provided with.

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before a Lesson is due to commence will incur no charge.

Lessons cancelled by you less than 24 hours before a Lesson is due to commence may incur a charge equal to 50% of the Lesson Fee unless the cancellation is due to Sudden Illness (of the Student or yourself) or a Family Emergency.

Lessons cancelled by you less than 12 hours before a Lesson is due to commence will incur a charge equal to 75% of the Lesson Fee unless the cancellation is due to Sudden Illness (of the Student or yourself) or a Family Emergency.

We may agree to waive the cancellation fee in extenuating circumstances, however this is at our discretion and will be decided on a case-by-case basis. Where late notice cancellations occur on a frequent basis we may have to terminate this contract.

A Trial Lesson is your very first lesson with Little Blossoms Tutoring and it is the chance for you to ask any additional questions you may have of your tutor, assess the connection that you/your child has with the tutor and to judge whether or not you would like to go forward with further bookings. The Trial Lesson will usually take the form of a 45 minute lesson with time available for a Q&A but it is a very flexible lesson and can be used however you like.

At Little Blossoms Tutoring we like to take this approach because we can fully appreciate that not all children will take to a single tutor, or you may be looking for something different and that is completely ok. At the end of the day this is your child's journey and you know your child the best, so we leave the ball in your court to decide whether to take things forward. There is absolutley no obligation to make further bookings after a Trial Lesson.
